I have 2 elder dogs, I have a red heeler mix that's around 15 and an applehead chihuahua that is about the same age and they both had gotten really slow about moving and the red heeler has always been a spunky dog just full of energy but she had began to experience hip pain and would wince and cry out and even fall coming up and down the steps so I started looking for something to give her besides pills from the vet because she hated taking them and they only masked the pain. I ordered these on a whim one day and it was like flipping a switch with them. Mattie began running around again having her zoomies and Izzy has never been one to play but even she began wanting to from time to time.They have had great results and Mattie loves the flavor, Izzy isn't really a fan of the liver flavor but she will eat them anyway to keep any other animals from getting them. Mattie has reverse aged around 5 years and it took no time to begin to see the change in her and for me that's what makes keeping these chews in stock here.

Edit 10/14/2020- We are still thrilled with this product. Berry BooDog thinks the supplements are delicious and she is enjoying obvious pain relief. We did experience a side effect, however. It WAS OUR OWN FAULT. But I wanted to give a warning to others to avoid making the mistake we made. After a couple of weeks I noticed something was off with The Boo. She seemed a bit sluggish and was frequently asking to go outside to do her business. Also, this hoggy doggy was turning her nose up at snacks! I did some fast research and it turns out she was constipated. We had given her too much of the supplement. It was pretty easy to forget this is a supplement and not a snack because she loves them so much. On the label is states you can start out at a certain dose but then lower it and we had not lowered it when we were supposed to. From my research I learned that, while it isn't terribly common, this sort of supplement can cause constipation with higher doses. I also learned that at her size we could give her stool softener. I paired that with foods that would help her to go and it passed quickly. Lesson learned. We were so excited to see her get some relief that we were not as careful as we should have been.As I said this was our own fault and not the fault of the product at all. This is a wonderful product to help with the pain and stiffness Berry has experienced as she has aged. We will continue to purchase this and provide it for her as it has really improved her quality of life.Original review:I am thrilled with this product. Our girl is getting up there and having some problems with pain and we could tell this because she struggled with the stairs. She also struggled getting into her favorite chair that's always been hers. I found this product by searching on Amazon and this is the 1st one I've tried. I expected maybe with see some relief for her after a month maybe a couple of weeks if we were lucky. I was surprised to see our girl coming up the steps much more quickly and seeming much happier within the 1st couple of days! I didn't mention anything and my husband commented on it independently. It's a hands down difference in speed and ability to maneuver that is unmistakable.She loves to eat these and to her they are like a treat when she comes in from outside, so I can give her *medicine* and it's also a yummy treat! These are very competitively priced compared to other products.We are delighted to have have something to helps her pain and stiffness that she also loves and that is very affordable. My 13 year old doggies, Poppy, Porky,& Zoey. Love these ! We where using a brand from tractor supply that they also liked but they seem to really like these ! Dogs have been much more active! Actually playing again! Their fur coats look healthier and shiny! The little tablet is not too Hard. Mine have teeth that are going bad but not yet a issue for extraction at vet luckily. The ingredients are pretty standard to what to expect from a supplement like this. I saw another review about constipation from these so I purchased a auto water water fountain with charcoal filter to encourage more water drinking especially for my one dog she is getting blind and has a hard time finding her way around especially if we move things on her. She is loving these the most. SO FAR ITS BEEN EXCELLENT purchase with GREAT noticeable results only like a week in!! The packaging could be better I worry for other customers using for one dog the container may go stale by the time it gets finished. It's just a plastic like sour cream type container with pop off lid. Also someone dog could potentially chew through the whole thing. So I would recommend storing up high out of reach or in the refrigerator. We love these ! Thank you petnc
