I'm really happy with this fan. I needed it to circulate air from a higher part of the room to get the heat from up there down, and to keep it cooler as the high areas is a loft where I sleep. It pulls the air down and I can feel instant circulation when I'm on the loft which is 8' away from the fan. Remote works perfectly as well.I direct wired it. It should be mounted on a more heavy duty box as it is pretty heavy. Home depot sells boxes specifically designed for a fan which are easy to install. I used one that attaches to the side of a joist but you can also get one that spans between the rafters which is a "remodel" type. These can be used to replace an existing fixture's box with the more heavy duty type needed for a fan.

We live in an old Florida house and it gets hot. We have fans in every bedroom because of this. One of the bedrooms doesn’t have much insulation so we have an extra fan that sits on the dresser. But when I saw this fan, I decided to put it in the place of one of the sconces. I am telling the truth when I tell you that we were SHOCKED at how strong this little guy is. It is easily twice as strong as the ceiling fan that is 48”. In fact, I will go as far to say that it is stronger than the 84” 3 blade fan (that was SO gorgeous but oh so weak!) that was in the small sitting room. I would buy this for other rooms in our house if there were sconces. Definitely one of my best purchases!

Works well for the low ceiling in our loft. It was a bit smaller than we expected but it moves air as we need. Would buy again

horrible...came with no blades and still no replacement

Pretty easy to install, but pretty small. From about 6 ft away the highest setting is barely a breeze. I recommend 3 or 4ft distance install. It works for what I need it for, runs smooth and isn't very loud. I knew the size when I ordered but that's kinda hard to visualize, for reference it's about the size of a dinner plate.

Great quality very quiet

Wanted a little wall mounted fan in our living room; there's no ceiling lighting or box to put a room fan in, so this is a nice little solution to get some air movement in the room. The fan is pretty small, but provides enough oomph to feel it across the room if you're in the airstream. It's quiet, and the remote works well. It seems well built. The only problem I ran into is the screws it includes are literally not big enough for the drywall anchors. Like... they don't bite in at all... and the heads of them are too little to hold on to the mount without using washers, which it only includes 2 of (when 4 are needed). So... be prepared to use some of your own hardware.
