Colour coating peels
Ordered half a dozen, been standing in workshop 2 weeks and seems the red white marking is a thin plastic sleeve which is splitting whilst they just sit there

Acceptable, but cheap quality
Its acceptable, but mine arrived with a few dents; it feels cheap. It has stood up ok to fieldwork (archaeology), but not exceptionally well.

Where's the bag?
Unless you happen to need an unusually short pole (which, as it happens, I do), you can get better quality for less elsewhere. This pole is OK but, for this price, I would have at least expected some sort of carrying bag. Also, as another reviewer has pointed out, the pole is not as straight as, well, a straight thing.

Junk, don not buy unless you really need a 1.8m ranging rod
Who in the hell sells a 1.8 metre ranging pole, with 90 cm sections? 1m sections with 2m total length is pretty much standard. Stay well away from this trash.
