I am a quadriplegic and use one of these every day. My iPad is basically like my cell phone and it goes everywhere with me so these mounts have been awesome! I have three of them and will buy another one before the price goes up because honestly these things are worth twice what they're asking. It's frustrating reading some of the bad reviews because I would say that the majority of them are user error or just pure stupidity. This thing is made out of plastic not metal, they're not bulletproof and they will crack or break if you over tighten knobs, Drop them too hard, or bend them too far. If you keep that in perspective and realize it's limitations then they work awesome! I am literally writing this review from my iPad that sits in one of these mounts. They operate smoothly, easy to adjust, Lock positively when you want them to, and provide foam padding to prevent scratching and vibration on the device. The quarter inch thread mount is brilliant and provides so much flexibility for mounting options… Not just for tripods. I use mine on microphone booms, modular flexible hose like Loc-Line, and RAM mounts using their quarter inch ball adapters. This mount is just as good if not better then the RAM X-grip that cost over $100. Heck, people, for $13 buy two of them and have a back up, especially if you're the same type of person that needs “caution, contents may be hot“ written on their coffee cup. Trust me, I'm permanently in a wheelchair because of someone else's stupidity, I'm pretty good at calling it when I see it.

I have a 10.9” iPad Pro that I use for photography and for my LASR (Laser Activated Shot Reporter) app. I mount this on a Manfrotto tripod with an adapter.Since the iPad is about 4 feet from the ground, and I have a protective case, the last thing I want is for the iPad to fall.There is a multidirectional swivel ball that attaches on the back of the mount. It is secured with a plastic bolt. It can rotate or tilt in any direction. The arms of the mount can accommodate for virtually any thickness of protective case. The length of the mount is adjusted by a knob that turns 90 degrees to lock or release the mechanism. It is easy to operate.For a tiny investment, it will keep from dropping my iPad. Definitely one of the best tablet mounts that I have used to this date.

I got this one because it works with my tripod and it swivels. I set it up the day after I got it and it works very well. I used it with my iPad mini, but found I needed to make sure I clamped it in extra tight when I turned the iPad sideways as it did start to slip. Also the rotator can be adjusted, but so far its either really tight or really loose, so maybe it just needs to be broken in a bit before I can find the sweet spot. Overall, really good product and I recommend it. As soon as it arrived, I was contacted by the company for any support I may need with trouble shooting or returns if I didn't like it, so that was a big plus as well.

This is a perfect solution for a tablet tripod mount. It is solid. The rotate feature works wells and keeps the tablet wobble free. There is a lock and unlock when securing the table in position. There is also a knob that tightens the mount to the tripod. The box makes for a good storage for the unit when not in use.Overall: Perfect for the purpose of use and with the unit being so affordable, it was worth getting two (2) - just in case.Customer Service: The person selling this unit is very engaging and wants to know how to improve the product and the their service. I like that in a company. Kudos to the improvements you guys made from the last version. So far so good but I will add more to this review if we start having problems.

I use the iPad to draw and wanted to use the mount on my tripod as an easel.All the pieces are made from plastic. It looks and feels flimsy. The mount itself is tall and thin which creates a lot of wobble when you touch the iPad. Not suitable for touching, just looking at.I have a very beefy case on and it still fits which is good. Rotation is good but tilt is very limited.For the price it's a decent value but if you want to actually use the iPad while it's mounted, either hold it with your other hand to reduce wobble or spring for a more durable mount

This is the second one of these I’ve purchased (someone borrowed the first and didn’t return) Fits both my iPad Pro and regular iPad. Easy to put iPad in and take out. Holds it steady and tightly.

I recently bought a bike turbo trainer. The desks for these are insanely priced. So I really looked at what I wanted. Which was basically my iPad in front of me. I had a sturdy tripod and I figured I’d try. I ordered this and it fits the bill perfectly. Holds it steady, locks in place, and works with a 12.9 iPad. Great buy.

This is a bit pricey for some plastic but it works really well and is very secure only thing is sometimes you cannot loosen the part that keeps it so sturdy once you’ve tightened it well. Does the job though

I was disapointed at the quality of the tripod mount, for the price, it's not heavy duty at all. It is made very ridgid and lightweight plastic, which I expect will crack if we are not very careful. The pads on the back don't grip the IPad very well and it easily falls out. The mount for the tripod loosens with just a little movement. My expectation was of a quality more similar to my Mephoto Iphone tripod mount for the price.

I really like this product, its nade solid and came fast. It costs alot but am only satasfied with the item.
