Needless to say i didn't check the size of the filing cabinet and these are too small for it. Seemed okay but have passed them on to someone esle to use instead

I wonder if the review questions are written to lower reviews. "sheerness" was one of the questions. That's odd, because the files are obviously not see through and not a quality I was looking for. I gave 5 stars because they're a sheer bargain. The different colours make it easy to pinpoint more important documents. The fact you don't have to buy in bulk makes them more affordable and you get the tabs with them.

Hold plenty of a4 sized letters within the fold, so keep your bills and correspondence organised.

The important thing to note with these is that they are actually A4 size, so will NOT fit in standard office filing cabinets. If you have a filing box which is rectangular (eg the Really Useful filing boxes) you can put them in across the shorter side, but obviously you can't mix them with standard office suspension files.Also, you can only put in A4 paper or folders - so you ca'nt protect the papers in a slightly larger popper-type folder and put that in the hanging file.With this proviso, they're fine and the different colours are useful for easy location of what you want.

These are quite flimsy and I bought to replace original green ones rather expensive
