Could never get this to pair to my camera and attempting to get help from their technical support wastes time. They do not reply for hours and are not available weekends so when your car is apart, you have to put it back together....and wait and wait.In my case, they could not determine why the module would not pair to the camera and just sent video clips of install or basic install instructions I tried several times. After a WEEK of this, they said it might be a bad cable, I replied, "it's going back". Pure frustration. I am a retired EE so I understand electronics. Seriously, this company MUST do a better job of supporting their products as people can't wait for days when their cars are in pieces. This is a no-brainier.

It’s easy to install if you are mechanically minded. The unit needs a SIM card. You can get from your phone provider.

With so many crazy drivers around, I bought 2 of these for our two cars. I choose to have them professionally installed. They work very well. Make sure to get the add-on kit for recording when the car is off!The controls are easy to understand, but there are a LOT of setting options that were a bit overwhelming to me. Luckily my techy son could give me input on what I needed (and what it meant).So far, there have been no on-the-road incidents, but I'm sure there will be a day and I'm ready!
