Looks better in the pic than it is
Keep out of reach of children unless you want it broken up in 5 minutes. I can basically only give it any stars for being lightweight and concept. I wasted my money. It was interesting putting together how you can block it together in various ways and I tested it’s ability to hold things and not too bad for things that aren’t too heavy and comes with lots of pieces. The doors don’t all quite line up despite pushing and tapping with the cute little hammer. But maybe I don’t have the patience. I pretty much envision it in the recycling can once I go ahead and buy something that is what it seems. It reminds me of some toys my grandma had when we were kids that you could snap together and take apart again. The people who made this would have been better off just making them folding and then having something to stabilize them. Why did they waste time and money? Who knows-but sure wish I didn’t

Yes, I would recommend this! Not for very heavy items though...
I bought this storage unit to house my many clothes when I decided to finally get rid of my old dresser, and I have loved it ever since. I have had it set up about a month now, and it is still holding up great.Pros-Easy to set up once I understood the picture instructions (no words). It may take a little longer to understand the diagrams vs. written directions. Not cheap, but nowhere near expensive.Very sturdy against my wall.Cubes are very roomy, and holds what I need to hold in each one.Took me all of 2-2 1/2 hours to put together, although I would put it together where you want it to stay if I were you.Cons-Squares of cubes do not fit together as smoothly or evenly as I think they should/would like. Therefore, the doors do not line up evenly with each other, and it makes the whole thing look a little sloppy (or I made it look a little sloppy). It doesn't really bother me though, since this is the 1st time I have ever done anything like this! The corner of the doors that are supposed to stick to the magnets do not touch them at all. The doors still close fine without the magnets though, so not worried about them. The description of these cubes on Amazon says each one can hold 22 lbs. I do not believe this. My big stack of shirts in one cube weighs about 8 lbs and the middle of the panel they sit on sagged ever so slightly the first time I put the shirts in so I just don't feel comfy putting any more weight in. They have not sagged anymore since, though. My heavier clothes are on the bottom as well. All in all, a very nice system that holds way more than my old dresser ever did, and works great as clothes storage. I wish the cubes looked neater together(or that I was better at hammering the pieces in place, which would have helped ha ha) and that I could trust more weight in each cube, but this storage unit is so far worked great for my clothes and shoes, very sturdy, and I am very happy with it! It arrived a few days early with all parts there and no damage to anything either. Yippee!!!

Better than the other brands available on Amazon.
Joiscope is the one on the right and I'm so tempted to return the one on the left. This one (Joiscopes) came with a lot of pieces that made the overall product higher quality. There are magnets to keep the doors closed, there are special plastic pieces to combine doors if you want and it was sturdier (with using the hammer, there was no rocking after assembly). The product on the left didn't come with magnets (that's why the doors won't stay closed), they sent zip ties instead of any specially designed plastic pieces to combine the doors, and even after zip tying every single piece, it still isn't as sturdy as the Joiscope. The Joiscope also came with an extra coat hanger piece, so it technically provides even more storage. Would not waste time with the other brands.. and the only reason I'm not for Certain sending the other one back is because we'd have to cut all the zip ties to do so and that'd be a huge pain. In short, Joiscope>the other options.

Excellent weight bearing. Prone to damage side to side or front to back.
Don’t let the pictures fool you, this is really sturdy if properly assembled. Be careful and try to avoid disassembly and reassembly. Every time you pull it apart it doesn’t click as tightly the next time. When you are done push up and down or side to side on both ends of each row of connectors to make sure they all clicked. Beware. There is a weak spot on each panel where the wire is welded. You should be able to feel it through the fabric. Put the weld in the back on the bottom row so you don’t break it if you accidentally step on it. (Yep, learned this the hard way). Update: 3/2021. The problems I have had would fit in the category of user error. While the unit is very good at bearing weight, it is subject to damage when stressed front to back or side to side. I was rearranging the room and tried to scooch it over just a bit. Stupid user! Yep, it popped some of the lower connectors. I was pulling something out from under the bed and got myself wedged between the bed and the unit. Broke the weld on one of the doors. My overall assessment is that if you do a good job assembling it and if it is somewhere it won’t get jostled too much it works out fine. I would not put it in a kids' room unless they were very quiet inactive children. Tip: if you have a corner piece that won’t stay put you can reinforce the joint with cable ties.Update: 9/2022: Still going strong. One door is a little askew, but not bad. Magnets hold the rest of the doors shut. I'll try adding a second magnet. Note: I did not use the feet. It sits flat on my floor. Despite somewhat shaggy carpet I am still able to open the doors. After the forementioned accident, I cable tied all of the joints. If I were going to set another one up, I would go ahead and use cable ties. If you match the color and use small ties you don't really notice them.

Second time I have received an order that was missing pieces
I ordered my first set of these a couple weeks ago and despite it missing a couple pieces, it did what I needed so I kept it. I received another order today of the 16 cube system, and once again, I am missing pieces. I would return it; however, there are no more of the 16 cube systems in stock so Im hoping I can get the missing pieces.I can understand an order missing a couple pieces once, but to get a second order missing pieces (12 connector pieces and six panels) is more than an oversight. As much as I like the storage capabilities and look of these, I wont be ordering again.EDIT: I emailed the company who said they have no spare parts, but would send me a new item. Wow! I am speechless with such wonderful customer service! As for the product - I am thrilled with it. It isn't complete yet since I need more pieces, but it works beautifully!

I love this! I need two more for other areas of my apartment!
So I was planning to get only 1 for myself, but I brought two because myBrothers birthday was coming up. We had a bet to see whose would look better after the set up. Picture 1 is my storage. And Picture 2 is my brothers. He has less Space in his room, so he built it this way. I was surprised. When it came in the box I was disappointed because I thought it was smaller than I imagined, but when built, it was huuuge! I love it! Plus the design pattern on it is gorgeous. I will be buying two more. One more for closet storage and another one for my living room! The only difficulty is the instructions suck. Not all the pieces are mentioned in how to be used. And the process for me personally was about 1 hour

Very Good Product
We set this up as storage for our son in his basement bedroom. Very impressed with the product. The instructions aren't that great but it is easy to figure out. Make sure you hear a "snap" when putting the pieces together to make sure it's a solid build. Also, work from one end to the other as you build it.DO NOT work from the outside in from both sides. My son was helping me and we made that mistake and found it cannot be built that way.

You need 3 university degrees to put the thing together!
The most frustrating part of the whole two hours it took us to put together wasn't the fact that I had to take it apart twice because the instructions are just stupid, but the fact that I got to the last square and found I was missing two wall panels and four brackets.Don't get me wrong. It is sturdy. Could easily hold clothes, toys, office stuff. But putting it together is a NIGHTMARE. Looking at the instructions, you'd think that the long side was the long side of the photo. Nope. Gotta make sure you read the teeny tiny sizing things to show you've put the damn thing together wrong. AAAND then take it all back apart. It's cute, it's sturdier than I thought it would be, it's pretty big (I got the 12 cube one), but on the instructions alone, I don't recommend it. Super frustrating.
