I recently purchaed this item for small stitching. The under thread seems to not to be catching in some places. Tried changing the tension but still missing threads underneath. Any suggestions.

I received this today. Watched a YouTube video on how to use it and did it straight away. It's a very nifty gadget for quick repairs. Already sewn a ripped cushion and it was quick and easy to do.*** edit. Broke after the second use. Such a shame as it was really handy to have

The machine itself looks fine. Trying to change the thread is very difficult and the needle threader snapped completely on first use. Still you get what you pay for.

Ineffective
Trying to control the device and making a a straight and consistent quality stitch would take a lifetime to achieve. This device is ineffective and difficult to master - despite much practice. I would not recommend purchasing.

Handy Standby
It does what it says. As long as the material is not to thick it will stitch it. The needle threader is useless it broke 1st time in using it.
