The media could not be loaded. My cat kept going to the sink in the bathroom to drink. I didnt want to keep the faucet dripping so we dont waste water. I took a chance and got her a fountain.Easy to set up. I was happy it had stainless steel because plastic can hold bacteria. I also put mountain spring water in it as well. Well water has too many deposits and is too hard - it corroded her stainless steel bowl she had prior.Took her about a week to get used to it. I turned it to the lowest setting. It's very quiet! The best way to get her comfortable was to give her wet food next to it everyday. After her breakfast this morning, I witnessed her drinking from the fountain for the first time. I'm so happy! lol

Would my cats (and dogs apparently) recommend this fountain? Yes, absolutely. They seem to love it. I, however, would highly not recommend. The fountain nozzle that the water pours out of is not fixed in place, it can swivel 360. So all it takes is a gentle push of a cat paw or the nose of a dog to push the nozzle to the side and create a lake of water on the floor.The top piece is also difficult to remove from the container for cleaning.

I dont like it because I cant clean the pump and after a few months its non stop regrowth of mold.

My cat has never drank so much water before I bought this. He absolutely loves it
