This is a fabulous starter kit for someone beginning diamond painting. It provides everything you would need initially without you even realising you'd need it!I would have loved this kit when I first started but I think it is also great for filling in holes in your stash or if another member of the family wishes to start diamond painting after watching you, as happened in our house.That everything can be packed into the felt carry case, which holds the essential light pad, is amazing. The light pad works well and is perfect for smaller paintings or for doing sections of larger ones.All the necessary tools, clays, roller, and clips are enclosed in a separate zip-closing bag which is convenient to carry in the felt larger bag if traveling with your kit. There is also a useful stand for the light pad which is a good addition.Gets the full 5 stars from me as I think it's a great kit offering really good value.

I got this so that I can do my diamond painting in the evening. It is an impressive light pad. Installation is super easy and ready to be used. The USB charging cable is long enough. The screen is really bright and makes it very easy to read. It turns on with a simple touch. The board is very thin and lightweight and a pleasure to use. Really love the fact that it also comes with a few accessories which will come in handy for my diamond painting. The accessories alone are fantastic and superb value, I was looking at buying a case for holding the beads but this has more than enough. Reasonably priced too.Hope you find this review helpful

This light board and tool set is perfect for anyone getting into diamond painting. It’s perfect for gifting, and is pretty much everything you need to accompany any diamond painting kit. There’s lots of little storage containers for sorting your rhinestones, trays for the ones you’re working with that have built in funnels, several tools for picking up and placing gems, a roller to make sure everything is uniformly adhered, and a pouch to keep the parts together. The light board is easy to use by just plugging into any usb, and is nice and bright for tracing. The light board comes with both a case to protect it, and a small stand for working more like a desktop easel.

The old adage, "you get what you pay for" holds true here. This is a really beginner and rather cheap light pad. There are three levels of brightness. I prefer to use the brightest level. That way, you can see the markings the best. If you have a bright overhead lamp, it drowns out the light from the light box below so I actually prefer to turn on a side lamp at the corner of the room (not a desk lamp) so that it's light enough to see what I'm doing but also give the light box a chance to shine. You do get a lot of items so it's definitely 'worth the price', but keep in mind that what you get is very beginner (and not very high quality) diamond painting supplies (about the same quality as you get in the diamond kits themselves). The drill container is okay for small projects only or you'll be refilling them pretty often because they are very, very small. If you're a beginner diamond painter and you're trying out light pads for the first time, this is a good option but you can get a much better light pad if you pay a little more and get fewer extra accessories.
