A Great Buy!
Just received this keyboard today and these are my initial reactions after using it for an hour or two.So far I love it!!! The keyboard that came with my all-in-one was awful. Noisy, slow, oddly spaced keys, tremendous potential for typing errors. So when I went looking I insisted on one that is quiet, fast, and has a lighted cap lock indicator. Without one it's pretty hard to get your case sensitive password entered correctly. This one has three light indicators...cap lock, num lock and a low battery indicator. The lights on this one are somewhat oddly placed, all in the far right hand corner, and are a bit hard to see in the daylight, but I'm thrilled to have any sort of indication that the cap lock is on. It's super quiet and super fast and set itself up in seconds for immediate use. The keys are super quiet and so nicely spaced that it's not only fast, but my accuracy seems to have improved. The space bar does rattle a bit. Both the mouse and keyboard arrived with batteries installed, but don't forget to take the plastic film off the batteries before you use it. Both devices work off the same USB connector. I also like the size. It's compact, but very easy to type on. The keys are flat and have a matte finish and feel nice to the touch. There are several buttons along the top edge that take you directly to Google, Email, Groove Music, volume control, mute and calculator. They're a little hard to read, but still handy. If the indicator lights were brighter and the space bar had the same noiseless technology as the keys. I would have given it five stars. I think for the money this is a fabulous buy!

The mouse is a great size if you have smaller hands
I bought this keyboard for work and have used it for almost a month now? Give or take. I did have to put brand new batteries in it when it arrived. This is something I expected.Take a close look at the keyboard layout before you purchase this. The Insert key is in a weird place, and I still have issues with the number pad. Where the dash/minus is on most normal keyboard number pads, there is a Delete key. Overall, the layout of the keys is mostly familiar, but strange enough to bother me.The space bar is a bit fickle on mine. I have to strike the key just right or one of two things happens: 1) I get no space character or 2) I get far too many space characters. The mouse is a great size if you have smaller hands, but tends to hang/dawdle from time to time. There are also times when I click something and nothing happens, or it acts as though I have clicked that thing multiple times. Keep in mind, this is with new batteries. If you're looking for a quick fix, sure. But on the whole, I'd recommend you save your money a while and purchase a nicer wireless set.

VEGCOO E2 Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo
First the keyboard: In an office environment where you are trying to be quiet while typing, this would work just fine. If you are a heavy on the keys, this may not work for you.The keys bounce nice and for the most part are quiet. I have found though that the space bar seems to be a bit noisy. So if a person using this needs to be in a very quiet place, this keyboard may not work for them. Most keyboards also come with little tab risers on the back. This one does not, so if you are used to having the keyboard at a little more of an angle off the desk, this may take some getting used to. The keyboard itself is a bit higher in front, just not as high as if it had the tabs. It has indicator lights for numlock, caps and low battery warning, but they are very minimal. Probably in an effort to save power. I found the dimension for the keyboard to be 15 1/4 x 6 1/4. Overall height looks to be 15/16ths or just under an inch. Keyboard shortcut buttons on top including play/pause, volume controls (including a mute) and calculator. There is no power switch on this. Now the mouse: It has a good feel to it and fits my hand well. It's a standard size, not notebook size. It also has a power switch on the bottom and a place to pop in the wireless adapter if you'll be carrying this around. It is dual colored and the turquoise color has a nice brushed finish. It is very quiet and even the scroll is quiet so long as you roll it uniformly. If you put pressure on one side or the other, it will make a bit of noise, not much though. The scroll is also clear so you get some of the optical light coming through. This to me was kind of cool because in the dark if you move the mouse you can see it easily. With some wireless mice you will notice the cursor jump around. I have not seen this happen and tracking is very smooth. These both come with batteries. (Be sure to peel off the plastic. It's hard to see, but you need to get it off or the batteries can't work.) Testing the range with the fresh batteries I was able to get about 25 feet away and still use it. I also have other wireless devices on the same frequency so that could interfere with the range. Your mileage may very on this.

A good keyboard and mouse for the price
So far, mom and I are liking the keyboard and mouse. There a few things that could be improved on them. The first item is this: the keyboard is very sensitive and ends up putting too many of one character on the screen. It's kind of a pain in the rear because of always having to proof read what I have written before saving/sending it. Another thing is the little bar at the top of the keyboard on the back side. It could be double in size to be as tall as other keyboards out there. It's just not tall enough. A lot of us are use to having it raised up higher like other keyboards out on the market. The next suggestion is for the lights for the number s lock, the caps lock and the battery. The lights for those could be double in size and maybe put at the top of the keyboard above the "F-12"' keys to see them a little better for the folks who have sight issues, like the elderly for example. And the final suggestion is to put instructions in as to what the pics for the "F1-12" keys are used for and to set them up for what the pics are showing. Other than that, we are liking the keyboards and mice. I have mentioned these suggestions to a rep by the name of Jason that contacted me via email.
