The mic wouldn't turn on so I reached out to the company and they told.me to take the sim card out and charge the mic. They tod me I woukd only do this for the 1st charge and thereafter wouldn't need to take the sim out to charge the mic. I tried it and it worked! My daughter loves it!

EDIT: company reached out and were extremely nice, and sent a new one. This one actually works as it should and charges. I don’t know why the first 2 were the way they were. The charger wasn’t even the right charger for the first 2. They have great customer service, and the new mic is perfect. Kids love it! I’ve charged it, and it works great! I don’t usually write reviews, but this time around I had to. I got this for Christmas for my goddaughter. I was so excited cos she loves to sing and the reviews were pretty good. First problem was the fact that it comes uncharged which I don’t like since the gift is for a child; can’t expect to present this to a child and then tell them they can’t use it right away smh but that’s not a major issue. What really pissed me off was the fact that no matter how may times we charged it, it wouldn’t turn on. We followed all the instructions, even switched charging ports and it still wouldn’t turn on but there was a red light so clearly it was charging. After awhile we just gave up and the fact that my god daughter kept picking it up to use it and wanted us to turn it on for her really upset me. I then read a few comments that mentioned the same issues so I just sent it back. Now I’m reading the comments and see that there’s a trick to get it to turn on? You have to remove the SIM card or something to charge it. That’s ridiculous cos if that was the case they should’ve been said that! So I’m good off this company and will be ordering another 1 from elsewhere!

Bought this as a Christmas gift for our two year old granddaughter. Not only does she love it but it's an even bigger hit with our grandson, her soon to be four year old brother. I'm certain they will get years of use and fun out of this present, as they are only just discovering the many different features...some of which they will "grow into"...but for now, the singalong is perfect. I only wish it came in blue since that's the color our grandson wants - so they'll have to continue to share and learn duets! The volume is a bit loud (and our daughter says it doesn't get any lower) but, aside from that - I would recommend. It's well made too and a beautiful shade of pink.

My daughter loves this. The only downfall is the battery doesn't stay charged for long. She can use it for about 30 minutes straight and it dies, which is expected. But if this sits off the charger for longer than 30 minutes, it will die and need recharging, when it hasn't even been in use. That's a little frustrating.

Easily my daughter's favorite Christmas gift she received this year. It comes with a variety of prerecorded nursery rhymes and child friendly songs to sing along to both with the words and without so the kid can sing the song with just the background music. Also comes with several funny voice distortion settings - high pitched, scary monster, etc. which amused my husband the most. Speaker quality is great. It can basically serve as its own blue tooth speaker if you wanted and can connect to your phone to play music. Only downside I can think of is it takes a long time to recharge and my kids constantly fight over it/my house is now a 24/7 hour karaoke bar.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I ordered 1 of these and my daughter opened it on Christmas morning, but it wouldn’t turn on. The sticker says to hold the power button to turn on. We tried holding it 1, 2, 3 seconds. Longer. Shorter. Single click. Tried all the buttons, nothing. So our next step was to try charging it. We plugged it in, the red light came on to show it was charging. It was on charge for several hours until we came home from Christmas dinner. We tried again, still nothing. I ordered a replacement and when it arrived, same exact issue. Charged it, and still nothing. I have now requested a refund, but with this product, you actually have to pay for the shipping and label, or print the label yourself, which is an extra hassle for people who do not have a printer at home. Definitely not worth it at all.

I didn’t think it was going to work as there was no sign of life for hours but by some miracle it came on. The speaker feature is strong while the voice changer is a lot of fun. Great for the whole family from the two year olds to the oldies. Everyone enjoyed it.

Nothing it’s just great for the kids

Very disappointed in this product. Bought in October for my daughter for Christmas and it doesn't even charge up! Very disappointed little girl 😔 And it's past the refund window so we can't return. AVOID buying this! Would give zero stars if I could.

Sound not so good didn't last granddaughter long
