This tray is exactly what I was looking for to use on our new ottoman. The sizing and description are accurate. I was going back and forth between this one and a metal one. I'm glad I went this direction. The leather has a woven texture to it which I like better than smooth. I was afraid it would look more like an office supply, something you would use as an inbox on a desk, but it looks like a nice home decor piece. It works very well on our ottoman and I think the texture will help keep things from sliding around on it, too. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Beautiful tray. Looks like leather but is not. It's really handy in that I put it on my padded storage bench/ottoman and I have an instant coffee table. Also great for holding small items like scissors (when I'm opening or packing packages) and pens and mail. I was very fortunate to have gotten this item on a really good sale just when I was looking for something like it. Last I looked, this tray is over $10 more than when I bought it. Still worth it but not sure if I would have jumped on buying it as quickly. I'm a really cheap person.
