21 IoT Experiments: Learn IoT, the Programmer’s way (English Edition) 1st Edition, Kindle Edition

This book is out of date. A lot of the code has bugs, and the application board required for most if not all of the experiments is no longer available anywhere. I have experience with big projects using Arduino, and I was able to find work arounds for most experiments, but having to do this for a class meant using their out of date SMTP2GO service descriptions and code (experiment 10) or the Wamp Server (experiment 13) which feels like extremely questionable software and is poorly explained in the book. Neither of these seem to be possible without significant workarounds. I would never recommend this book to a beginner trying to understand IoT, just follow along with Arduino tutorials through Adafruit or literally anywhere else online that provides up to date examples and explanations.

Used the book for a college class. It has no hardware diagrams, and throws pages of code at you with minimal explanation. Good luck figuring out how to wire the experiments, especially if you haven't worked with arduinos before.
