I first saw a lucet at a convention and I immediately went home and started researching how to get me one of those things. But, because I start too many projects without finishing them, I didn't want to get a very nice lucet. I just wanted something to get started to find out if it was going to be one of those things I kept doing or if I would play for a bit and abandon it (jury is still out). This was the cheapest lucet I could find with 2 day shipping (and sure, I totally started using it the day I received it!....).It is very basic and boring looking, but it lets you learn the art with a very low investment. I'm planning on painting mine to make it more interesting. But I have already started a project on it and it is easy to use, no splinters, and it is very lightweight.Good purchase!

I would have liked longer prongs. The wood was rough and I had to sand it, I shouldn’t have had to do that.

You would think all Lucets work the same, but this Lucet is my favorite. It is the perfect size, the perfect weight, and the perfect thickness for my hand. Finally I can create cord I can be proud of.

I like this lucet fork. The size is good for my hands,(they are on the small side). My only issue with it was the finish. It doesn't have one. It was a bit on the rough side. But a little brush up with some sand paper, and a bit of bees wax took care if that. It is now smooth as silk, and works perfectly!

Very nice tool to make cording

Prongs too small (short) to work well and product required considerable sanding to achieve a smooth enough finish to use. Much better off buying a nice lucky even if more expensive as you’re more likely to enjoy the process of making cord when the tool works well and is comfortable to hold. I wanted an inexpensive one to have while traveling. Wish I hadn’t bothered to get this one.

Easy to use and produces beautiful cording.

I wasnt expecting much, but I was expecting the fork to be smooth, not rough. I mean the needle is as smooth as butter. So why isnt the fork just as smooth?
