Schrade SCH107ALOR 6in High Carbon Stainless Steel Folding Knife with 2.5in Drop Point Blade and Aluminum Handle for Outdoor Survival, Camping and EDC

I put this little knife through he77 at work and it's held up! I scrape wax out of floor pockets, cut cardboard, pry open bottle tops and then use it for cutting my food at dinner time. It's a great little knife and cheap to boot!

I didn't have any of the problems that some others have claimed to have with this knife. I have had other Schrade knives that were really tight on arrival, and needed work. Not this one. Mine came ready to use out of the box. Could easily flick open the blade with one hand using thumb studs, and could close with one hand. The knife is incredibly lightweight. Yes, the blade is small. Heck, the whole knife is small. But, like most knives for sale on Amazon, all the dimensions are clearly printed in the product description. 2.5" blade, 6" overall length when open. Oh, and it came sharp.

This is a very light, but solid knife. The arrived sharp and is a very good length for everyday chores. I liked it enough to buy it's black-handled cousin-- the SCH107.

A li!ttle disappointed in this little knife! Ok..Schrade...what happened to the quality control? It is clear that this knife slipped through proper inspections of the working parts of the blade and lock. The tip was bent and curved to the left. I was able to straighten with a brass hammer and brass anvil. It was almost impossible to use the thumb studs to flick open because of the tightness of the closing cam and the liner lock was solid...but a little too solid! Extremely hard to release. Required a lot of working and some good lubrication. These matters are 98% resolved now after a little tinkering and as time goes by it should get better. Most people don't have time for that. When they purchase a new produce they expect it to work right then. I will say it is well made and was razor sharp right out of the box and will now take it's place in a grab and go day pack. Wish I could have given the knife at least one more star but for the price I paid, I shouldn't expect much more. After getting it back in working order I am happy with it now.

The knife is ok, but under mild use for 3 months the pivot points plastic washer "bushing" wore out and the blade flops around. The handle feels good.. Spend your money on a better budget knife like Opinel. will last 100x longer..

This is an inexpensive, light but beautiful little knife which is easy to open with one hand (after a little practice it becomes almost second nature).
