Great for sand and more!
I got this for my 3 y/o as a sandbox toy, but he also uses it around the house to pick things up. Lots of easy fun and great quality. Very sturdy.

Great for ages 4 and up
Smaller grandchild still can't get the hang of how to press the bar to open the claw, but the 4-year-old loves it. She grabs plastic dinosaur skeletons after digging them up from the sandbox and uses the claw to rinse them off in our pond before placing them in our special dinosaur museum.

Lots of fun!
I bought quite a few sand toys for my grandson. He loves to play in sand. At home, at the beach or at the pool. He and papa can literally play for a couple hours.When I asked my grandson which he’ll take to the beach with him, this and the drill won!!

Favorite for 2-4 year old set
This versatile grabber toy is a hit for picking up sand on the beach but kids also love scooping up their little toys with it and even pretending that the grabber jaws are sharks! Well made and immediately appealing.

Pinch pinch
My 3 year old loves it. It feels really strong, I saw some at one of the big box stores the other day and they were nowhere near as sturdy as this one is. I know a few of the reviews said the grabbing mechanism is hard to pull, but that's definitely not true for the one we got. My 3 year old can close it with one hand easily, and it takes me absolutely no effort.

Broke within 5 minutes of first time playing with
Bought it to play with this summer at the pool / on the beach. Broke within 5 minutes and won't "grab" anymore. Over 30 days so can't return either. I do not recommend this item!
