CONFUSION
When I contemplate on the existence of the numerous beliefs in a god/God, I become confused. - very confused. Where did this mind warping, life distorting, society destroying, humanity eroding invention arise? How can the highly developed human brain, functioning together with the mind, accept this most abstract concept known as GOD. I sincerely believe that no two people will ever agree on what God is, yet they will kill each other to defend this personal unknowable GOD.I will never understand religion.

Great way to look at a chart and see what cults believe! Highly recommend this! You can compare salvation side by side with what cults do with there works salvation. Salvation is a free gift from God. John 3:16 King James Version (KJV)16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

For Christians who want a casual reference of a seemingly random assortment of traditions.
The author does a nice job of describing, very succinctly, the views of several well-known branches of modern Christianity and several non-Christian traditions in terms of their contrasts with American Evangelical Christianity. This book might make a good reference for those who wish to interact cordially with those outside their own congregations, and does not belittle or judge the traditions reviewed, which I find refreshing. The book is well edited in terms of grammar and typography. The selection of faiths discussed seems peculiar. A now fairly obscure para-Christian wedding cult gets an entry, but Catholicism doesn't. Ba'hai is covered, but not Taoism - despite being referenced. Some of the description of Wicca is of questionable veracity, but again, the author doesn't seem to be on a crusade to demonize the pagans, so I can tolerate incompleteness or inaccuracy in a free book.If you're a Christian and always will be, but want a short book to help you distinguish the traditions Christian Scientists from Seventh Day Adventists, and Muslims from Sikhs, this book is a worthy starting point.

Good read, interesting! priced right!
This is really an interesting and informative book, something that everyone needs to stay alert to what is on the horizon, what to stay away from, and what to lean into. Not a hard read, but, very interesting for anyone that is concerned about the differences in varies religions, cults, and faiths.

A great quick-reference guide!
A great quick-reference guide to many other religions and cults, describing their scriptures, their view of God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit, and how they achieve salvation/enter heaven/reach nirvana. Printed on heavy stock with a glossy finish, it should last a long time.

Interesting
Excellent summary of the majority of break-away, alternative "religions" which contain curious beliefs that deviate from standard Biblical teachings over the centuries. Although some may contain bits of truly crazy ideas, it's good to see in a short version. Finished reading in one sitting.

Excellent content, easy to understand
I ordered 3 of these to share... 2 are great- the 3rd pamphlet is curled on the edges and has a tear in the middle of the front edge.. very disappointing. They are laminated, but with the edge ripped it will not repel liquid. NOT new quality.

Very pleased.
Lots of information in a small amount of space. Handy size to keep in your Bible. Good overview of the cults. I found this very helpful while teaching this DVD series. In fact, I thought it was more useful than the participants guide or the teacher's guide.

Comparison Made Easy
It gave a lot of information in a well condensed way. It is very easy to compare Cults one side and Religions on the other with what Christianity believes. Besides the layout being very well designed, the small individual pictures which relate to the Cult or Religion gave that extra bit of information.

Read this before joining a church
Every believer should check what they believe in against the word of God and this is the best way of doing just that.

Excellent Concise Resource
The author provides the reader with enough information for a very basic understanding of other religions. This is what makes it worthwhile but also limited in what it provides. Good beginning to gaining some concise knowledge of other religions in comparison to Christianity.
