Wire is too thin to be used for washing line. It’s so thin (about 3mm) that pegs don’t hold properly on it. Sure it’s very strong and steel core but I ended up having to buy a thicker line. Don’t waste your money go for a thicker product.

The wire is quite thin but of good quality.

Snapped after 2 days and washing ended up on the ground!!!!!

I haven’t used it yet, but it appears very thin. See photo against a standard penI chose it because it would blend in better with garden and not be an eyesore. Proof will be when it’s got a full line of washing on, how strong it is.

I would rate this as a brilliant fishing line for minnows.For clothes though, it is severely lacking.First time use over a 20-foot length and it stretched loads. The wire stretched more than the coating resulting in 2 breaks in the coating as pictured.It was not even a full load of washing as I was expecting a little stretch, so had a relatively light load on.To get so much stretch though was unexpected.When it arrived it has not been wound properly and it has twists in it. I had to cut it into 3 sections to get rid of the deformed twisted parts. I didn't think to take a picture of that.

Best washing line I have purchased.Went through two winters.
