1000 count bottle of 50mg diphenhydramine (substitute/generic for Benadryl brand of antihistamine, also used as an anti-emetic /anti-motion sickness / sleep aid). This product is 50mg per unit, or twice the strength of standard, OTC strength (25mg) diphenhydramine. That said, most of the time when diphenhydramine is utilized as a sleep aid, it is supplied as 50mg gel-caps. The next best rapid disbursal system to gel-caps is in fact capsules, which is how this product is supplied. These are, in my opinion, at any rate, clearly superior to caplets or tablets, and I always make sure that I am in fact getting capsules. A 1000 count bottle of 50mg capsules for roughly twenty bucks is an unbelievably terrific deal and will last most people, well, a long, long time. Although I won't specifically mention the specific expiration date and the purchase date of this particular bottle of diphenhydramine I'm reviewing here given the inherently changing nature of such information and the chance that you may well wind up with a bottle that falls drastically short of this particular product, I am comfortable saying that the expiration date was considerably forward of the date that I purchased this bottle.I utilize this product for all of the uses stated in the foregoing, but I also keep them on hand to use for my dogs in the event of venomous snakebite. Given that I reside in south Louisiana, this is not at all an uncommon occurrence for my dogs. In fact, all three of my current dogs have been bit by venomous snakes: two by copperheads and one by a cottonmouth. When they are bitten, I immediately dose them with diphenhydramine and prophylactically treat with an injectable antibiotic as soon as is practical. In fact, I do not have a dog that doesn't have a first aid it on its collar with a bare minimum of general purpose suture, blood clotting agent, bandages, etc., and always - diphenhydramine.This product is absolutely a high recommend!

This Is A Great Buy! It Works As Good As Benadryl And The Cost Is So Much Less.

This is a huge, money-saving deal! An incredible amount of diphenhydramine for an incredibly low price. The price per dose cost is FAR lower than anything you're going to find at a local drug store. Do I know that there's actually 50 mg diphenhydramine per capsule? No, but the stuff seems to work as intended for me.However.....My only caution (a warning, actually; I was medical school faculty for about 40 years) is that these capsules are labeled as containing 50 mg of diphenhydramine. That's 2X the dose in every over the counter (OTC) diphenhydramine product (brand name Benadryl and a multitude of store brands) I've seen. Diphenhydramine or a drug like it is also a common ingredient in OTC "nighttime" remedies (for coughs/colds, nighttime pain, etc). Diphenhydramine is sedating, intense sedation can arise from an excessive dose, taking with one or more of the products mentioned above, and even if consumed with alcohol; and treating overdoses isn't always that easy. So be careful.

This medication works Extraordinarily well.As a doctor I would Caution ⚠️ the buyer of this medication 💊 that Normally Diphenhydramaine is 25mg, however these are 50mg diphenhydramamaine caplets. You should use Caution ⚠️ when taking this product just making sure you realize that you may only need to take one (1) caplet as opposed to the two that you are used to

Incredible value vs. buying smaller quantities. I work nights & sleep during the day. I take one of these every morning when I head to bed. A bottle lasts me a couple of YEARS.
