Shazam! (2018-) #1 Kindle & comiXology

I liked the comic for capturing the child-like essence of characters. Plus, the set up will certainly lead to more adventures down the road. The only bad part is that the book ended too soon, forcing me to wait for another month. Ugh! Definitely, I would recommend this book.

... I knew if anyone were to breath life into this ancient Fawcett character it would be him. It took him 7 years to do it,but, the wait for me has been worth it with this first story, which is all about family. The secondary story entitled "Mary" brings a few surprises as well. I highly recommend this comic, it works for kids and adults alike. 5 ☆'s is not a good enough rating, it should be 10☆'s !!!!

Geoff Johns is a fabulous world builder and it is evident that this is where he’s leading with the inclusion of this new series. The best part is it doesn’t matter how much you know about Shazam, whether you’re an old fan, or you started with his origin in the New 52, or even if all you know is from the recent movie this story starts right off with the Shazam Family trying to learn more about their powers. A seamless start to any series/franchise.

Great adaptation! The art is beautiful and the tone is light- hearted!! Perfect fAEor the Big Red cheese !! A+

Billy Batson and a bunch of kids that aren’t Captain Marvel. Geoff Johns ruined the Shazam legacy.

Great art! Good cohesion. Retained innocence of originals while making it feel modern. Nailed it! Good use of entire Marvel extended family! Can’t wait for more!

This book opens up alot of opportunity for Shazam and the family. I'm sure this is going to be a very fun and awesome run for his character

Okay for today’s youth probably. The forties Marvel is my style. Sorry. For what it is supposed to be it is very good.
